Why families from Bangladesh contact us
Most of the families we support live in Bangladesh. They already have reports or a referring doctor, and they need someone in Chennai who will request the appointment, chase the invitation letter, and meet them at the airport.
Chennai is a tertiary-care destination — cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology, women’s health, and pediatrics. Kolkata is closer for many people; families still choose Chennai when their doctor or a previous patient points them to a specific campus here.
We are based in Chennai, not Dhaka. That is the practical difference: we handle the on-ground side — hospital desks, pickup, hotels, interpreters — while you deal with the High Commission process in Bangladesh.
What we coordinate (and what we do not)
We request appointments, coordinate visa invitation letters that hospitals issue, help with flight and hotel options, arrange airport pickup, note interpreter needs, and help with discharge-summary follow-up requests.
- We are not a hospital, clinic, or Apollo information centre.
- We do not sell treatments, quote clinical fees as our own, or guarantee visa approval.
- Hospital names on this site identify facilities where we can request appointments. No partnership or endorsement is implied.
Typical path from Dhaka, Chittagong, or elsewhere in Bangladesh
A usual coordination path looks like this. Hospital availability sets the dates.
- You message us on WhatsApp with your city, preferred specialty, and travel window. Skip sensitive reports on the first message.
- We request appointment options with the hospital department you ask for.
- If the hospital will see the patient, we coordinate their medical visa invitation letter request (the hospital issues the letter).
- You apply for the visa at the Indian visa centre in Bangladesh. We share a checklist; the High Commission decides.
- We help lock hotel and pickup around the confirmed dates, support you in Chennai, and coordinate follow-up paperwork when you fly home.
Medical visa, in brief
For treatment in India, most patients apply for a medical visa (and an attendant visa for a family member). Hospitals issue invitation letters. Since 2025, hospitals in India have also been asked to generate a medical-visa reference through government systems (often described as the AYUSH portal reference) for the online form — confirm the current field list on the official Indian visa site before you apply.
India resumed standard tourist and business visa services for Bangladeshi nationals on 28 June 2026 across centres in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Sylhet, and Khulna. Medical visas continued during the earlier restriction on urgent and humanitarian grounds and continue now. Rules change; always verify with the High Commission of India in Dhaka and Indian Visa Online.
